PNDC Exchanged Information with GAIN about the Flour Fortification Program in China

        In the morning of February 19, 2002, the executive director[1], senior manager of food fortification program[2], manager and administrative of Southeast Asia[3], and senior regional administrative assistant[4] of the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) visited Center for Public Nutrition and Development (PNDC). The director of PNDC, Professor Yu Xiaodong and all members of the flour fortification program and the policy program communicated with GAIN stuffs. Furthermore, PNDC program members reported the progress of these two programs, and both parties exchanged information about the program such challenges and future plans for the program.

       Program directors Dr. Wang Ping and Mr. Wang Wei reported the progress of the flour fortification program and the policy program. Furthermore, they also reported the problems that they met during the implementing process and the implementing focus during the year of 2008. after that, both parties exchanged information about more detailed problems of these two programs.
