1. The Director of the Center holds the major
responsibility of regular management under the supervision of the Council.
2. Council executive members and members are representatives of relevant
government departments and social organizations.
3. A steering Committee, consisting of senior officials and experts, provides
the Center with guidance and consultation.
4. Affiliated to the Center, the Committee for Nutrition Industry Development,
consisting of representatives of leading enterprise in the industry, serves
as a forum for the development of nutrition industry. The Committee is
to be upgraded in near future to the China Association of Nutrition Industry,
a sectoral council for the industry.
5. There are five functional offices within the Center: the administrative
office, the research coordination office, the social mobilization office,
the industry promotion office and the fortified food certification office.
